The Thompson Student Services Center, located at the highest point on the WSSU campus, combines three major student services functions in one location.  Included are the offices for the Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs, Admissions, Registrar, Financial Aid and Housing departments.  There are also numerous meeting, lounge, retail and recreation areas for use by the entire University community in the Center.

The 600-seat student cafeteria has a scramble serving area and snack bar.  The multi-purpose room contains a movie viewing area in addition to other game rooms and television lounge areas.

This multi-functional building provides most of the services offered to students, exclusive of academics and athletics, in one location.  From admissions and registration to daily meals and mail, this is a full service center for student needs.
