Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc. (ARE), a leading REIT uniquely focused on collaborative science and technology campuses, proposed the development of a first-of-its-kind campus in the RTP area, located at 6 Davis Drive. Leveraging the property then occupied by a research institute, this proposed hub for the intersection of science, technology and agriculture, will expand the existing campus assets and add newly designed multi-tenant lab facilities and a multi-tenant research greenhouse (AgTech Accelerator for the AgBio sector.) The project was taken from design through construction documents by the design-build team of Shelco Inc. and O’Brien Atkins.
