Kevin G. Montgomery, FAIA has been named CEO and President of O’Brien Atkins Associates. He previously served the firm as President and COO. John L. Atkins, FAIA, who previously served as CEO, remains active in the firm as Chairman of the firm’s Board of Directors. Michael Alligood, PE, Director of Electrical Engineering, has been elected as a director of the firm’s Board of Directors.
Mr. Montgomery has been with the firm for 37 years and has served in various leadership roles during that time. He has also been in leadership positions with both state and national professional architectural organizations. As CEO, Mr. Montgomery is leading the firm’s 2025 Strategic Plan. Implementation of the components of the strategic plan are being led by Bill Carney, AIA for Firm Operations, Josh Brady, AIA for Professional Practice, Steven Harris, AIA for Operational Efficiency, Michael Alligood, PE for Financial Accountability, and Tim Hillhouse, AIA for Business Development.
O’Brien Atkins was founded by Bill O’Brien, John Atkins, and Belton Atkinson in 1975 and is in its 50th year of practice.
