Matt Addis, PE, joins O’Brien Atkins as Director of Mechanical Engineering

OBA is happy to announce that Matt Addis, PE, has joined the firm as Director of Mechanical Engineering.

Matt has more than 10 years of technical engineering experience as a Mechanical Engineer and Project Manager. He has extensive experience in the design of pharmaceutical, laboratory, higher education, and commercial facilities. As Director of Mechanical Engineering, Matt is responsible for mechanical engineering, client contact and maintenance, technical development, and oversight of engineering projects.

Michael Alligood, PE, promoted to Director of Electrical Engineering

OBA is happy to announce that Michael Alligood, PE has been named Director of Electrical Engineering.

Prior to joining OBA in early 2024 as an Electrical Engineer, Michael worked in roles related to engineering professional services: consulting for power systems, electrical project manager, team leader, and power systems engineer. Michael has extensive experience in arc flash mitigation and power systems design and analysis for a variety of project types, specifically industrial, government, and higher-education. His past experience in leading teams of 8-12 people combined with his leadership on projects at OBA make Michael a great fit to lead our electrical engineering team.
